It's important to teach kids how to 'KNOW THE EARTH' as this Earth is their future. We can all help show them how to make the Earth a better planet to live on - by going green, recycling and being Earth friendly!

Teaching a child to garden, teaches them to hope.

Gardening

Gardening with kids at an early age encourages their interest in nature and gives them enthusiasm early in life. Children love all things natural.... whether it be playing in the dirt, planting a seed and watching it grow, digging up 'buried treasures' or watching a caterpillar turn into a butterfly.

Here are some fun gardening ideas to try with your child.

Vegetable Garden: Make a 'kiddie-sized' garden in your big plot or a personalized patio pot. This is an exciting adventure for a child and a great way to show them healthy food can be fun and tasty.
Specialty Garden: Grow plants that attract butterflies and birds.
Craft Garden: Grow gourds and craft into a birdhouse. Plant pumpkins for carving.
