'Princess' Pennisetum grows 2'-3' tall. Unlike other grasses that fade in the summer heat, the purple foliage of the 'Princess' grows brighter as temperatures climb. Tolerant to both heat and humidity, this grass will also do well in annual beds.
The 'Princess' is surrounded by petunias, and these are unique petunias. The Proven Winners 'Supertunia Raspberry Blast'™ has cascading foliage and pink blooms edged in deep cerise violet. This awarding-winning, heat tolerant plant will bloom until hard frost.

Deadheading is not necessary and it is deer resistant. The 'Supertunia' also does well as a flower bed edging. It comes in white, yellow and many shades of purples and pinks.
Add some 'Million Bells' Calibracoa, another low maintenance, drought-tolerant plant. The small, 1 inch, showy flowers come in a variety of colors and flower production is unbelievable, and look like a small petunia. 'Million Bells' also do well in baskets or window boxes.
Use a planting medium like Growers 3-B, feed well thoughout the summer, and enjoy!!
