Mike Lemke & Dick Nelson
Mike and Jacie Lemke, owners, purchased Nelson Trees from their good friend and mentor Richard Nelson in 1979. Mike Lemke worked for Nelson Trees from the time he was 13 years old shearing Christmas Trees, which was the main business of the company at the time. After purchasing the company, the Lemke’s changed the name to Nelson Nursery and began selling nursery stock. Eventually the company began growing and selling flowers, which now has become the largest part of their business. The main goal of the Lemke family has always been to serve the community which they call home with quality plants and friendly service.
